750% Funded and 2800 Backers Strong! New Stretch Goals

We are now over 750% funded and have a community of over 2800 backers. This is amazing! Thank you so much for the support. We just unlocked another Stretch Goal! We will be adding the Scythe Weapon to Elements. This will include a new animation move set, new special abilities and of course a Mythic version of each Scythe. Speaking of Mythic, we just posted two new Stretch Goals.

Mythic Armor Tier

We will add another last tier of armor for all of the armor pieces. Mythic Armor will be much harder to find but will offer additional perks and power.

Custom Fox NPC

We will create a Custom Fox NPC that will exist in the game. They will live in certain biomes in Elemythia and populate certain villages within the game. You will be able to interact with them as vendors, blacksmiths, and other merchants and help them with quests.

We are super excited about these new Stretch Goals and wanted to thank the community for all the suggestions and feedback. We polled the Discord asking which Stretch Goals we should focus on and it really helped us decide. What other Stretch Goals would you suggest when we crush these new ones?

What goes into making an Elemental Guardian?

I wanted to share a little insight into how a custom creature makes it into Elements. For the Nature Guardian we started with some references of creatures that would be found in the nature biome and ones that we liked (you may see some Bulbasaur in this guy). Our concept artist took those references and came up with some initial concepts.

Different options for horns and tusks

Once we picked the direction we decided on some options for where the horns and tusks would be. And designed how the tail projectile would work. Making sure this would all fit with gameplay.

Final Concept

After we had the final concept is was time to get modeling. For the Guardian we wanted to keep it stylized but still keep lots of details because of his size.

After we were happy with the model we started with texturing then adding cards for some of the leaves to really bring it to life.

Then finally it was time for rigging and animating. Because each Guardian Rig is custom, all of the animations are custom as well. 

There are 8 Elemental Guardians, one for each biome. These Guardians are the last line of defense to ensure the Stones don't fall into the wrong hands.

Thank you everyone for much for the support!  The community is now over 2750 backers strong and still climbing! We appreciate all the positive comments, feedback and sharing on social media.

I wanted to share with everyone a sneak peak of the One handed Fire Axe (Rare version). No one other than the internal team has seen this yet. Backers eyes first ;) This is the Rare version, so you can only imagine how awesome the other versions are going to look. We can't wait to show you more.

We know everyone has their own favorite weapon type, so what is yours? And which Elemental version are you most excited to see? We read every comment and are doing our best to respond to them as soon as we can :) Thanks again for all the support and love. And Happy Valentine's Day 💘

A Quick Look at the Taming System

We are almost at 145K and nearing our next Stretch Goal! Thank you to everyone who has shared the campaign with others. It really helps! We are still working on some Social Stretch Goals which we should have ready soon.

I wanted to give everyone a quick look at the Taming System (still a work in progress). There will be lots of creatures throughout the world that you can tame, if you can sneak up on them and get close enough. Once you tame a creature it will appear in your inventory so you can call it whenever you want.

Some creatures will have abilities above and beyond just movement like this Mouse Mount that can shrink in size. Other mounts might be able to climb, jumper higher, or walk through lava.

What mounts are you hoping to see in the game and what abilities would you give them. Thank you everyone for the continued support. We aren't even half way through the campaign and we are still going strong thanks to you!

Over 700% Funded and 2600 Backers! Light Architecture Concept Art

We are over 700% Funded and 2600 Backers strong! Thank you all for the support. We should be hitting the next Stretch Goal very soon, then we will post some more Stretch Goals that we are super excited about sharing. We are also thinking about adding some smaller social stretch goals, to encourage the campaign to be shared on social media. We are open to ideas on smart ways you have seen other campaigns do this.

We are also getting close to filling up the Blacksmith Reward level, which is amazing. We are going to have so many pieces of gear named by the community! We are working on an idea for another reward that would fit between Blacksmith and Inscription. And because each pledge level gets all of the rewards below it, it would give backers a new option and also add a reward to anyone who is Blacksmith or above. We will keep you posted on this.

I also wanted to post an early concept of some architecture in the Light Biome. It has Greek and Egyptian influences and we will be starting work on some of it soon.

Are there any specific types of architectural influences you hope to see in Elements? If so, in what biome? We would love to hear your thoughts.
